about

"The track starts with a very nice organ-sound (it comes back later in the track) after which a whole bunch of different sound effects follow. Around 0:22 the superb synth-bass and the drums join in with some accurate skanking guitar sound. From now on the whole track gets into a very nice original reggae groove which makes you dither in the usual way. During the whole track you can feel that there is a lot of work and professional know-how in the variations, song structure and mix. The drums and the bass have a lot of pressure now with some nice flute sound starting around 1:19. The next thing to mention is the very aerial synth sound joining in at 1:45 some nice variations with the organ follow. Around 3:04 some drum variations give the whole riddim some more tension. This part lasts up to 3:40. Around 4:18 the whole track fades out with some nice synth sounds. I really dig this riddim and this style of reggae - somewhere between the more traditional feel and the usage of modern instruments. To draw a final conclusion Nephtali indeed knows how to mix a track and he has the knowledge, the feeling and the patience to built tracks that are almost convincing even as riddims without vocals."
